Welcome to Love Mon Ami Designs—a playful, expressive, and élégant T-shirt brand created by a fashion school grad and her fashion obsessed daughter born from their deep love for all things French.

We’re a powerful duo—Elaine (an American mom) and Chloé (a French-American daughter)—based in Los Angeles who create designs that blend culture, humor, nostalgia, and bold femininity with a French twist. Our tees are for the cool girls, the romantics, the witty souls, and anyone who believes a great T-shirt can spark a smile—or start a conversation.

Chloé shares how it all began . . .

Growing up, my family spent our summers in a picturesque village in the South of France where my dad was born. My grandmother’s garden looked like postcard and her kitchen always smelled like something warm and wonderful. She’s the kind of cook who doesn’t use recipes—because they live in her heart, passed down through generations.

Those summers shaped me in the best way. They gave me a deep appreciation for beauty, for family, and for the effortless c'est la vie way of moving through life. My grandmother, my French roots, and those carefree summers are the heart of this brand.

My mom—our strategist, co-designer, and behind-the-scenes glue holding it all together—is a Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising graduate with an incredible eye for detail and design.

As for me? Fashion has always been second nature. From a very young age, I appreciated style not just as clothing, but as a form of storytelling. I've always had a sharp eye for putting looks together, especially when it comes to unexpected pairings and vintage pieces. I was thrifting long before it was trendy, finding those one-of-a-kind gems. It was never about labels, it was about individuality, expression, and finding beauty where others might not look.

Love Mon Ami is a natural extension of our lifelong passion for fashion—infused with French charm, wit, and a lot of heart.

What we create

At Love Mon Ami, we design endearing and witty, one-of-a-kind tees that celebrate the blend of French and American culture—just like me (Chloé)! Our phrases often mix both languages in unexpected ways, creating totally original sayings that are as charming as they are cheeky. Every design is inspired by our travels, our daydreams, and our self-expression—and cuddles from our French poodle, Margot Adèle.

We believe fashion should feel fun, fearless, and a little flirty. Whether you’re strolling through the streets of Paris, the South of France, or your own backyard, our tees are made to turn heads and warm hearts.
